About

Unibridge is a CSR initiative by Team Editoreal aimed at providing educational support to the children of 25 low-wage expatriate workers in the Middle East. The first edition of Unibridge will prioritize the children of those who have unfortunately lost their lives due to COVID-19, as well as the children of individuals who have died while working abroad. Additionally, children of blue-collar workers will receive priority. Through this program, Unibridge will offer scholarships of INR 200,000 to Indian students to help them pursue higher education. The slots will be allocated based on the eligibility criteria mentioned below. The selection process is meticulously conducted by a distinguished jury.

ELIGIBILITY :

  1. The scholarship is available to the students who have completed their higher secondary education. Students, who have already acquired any graduation degree are not eligible to apply.
  2. First-year students who have secured admission to higher studies are also eligible to apply.
  3. The maximum scholarship amounts available for a professional course/ degree, covering all expenses, is INR 2 Lakhs.
  4. Priority in the inaugural edition of Unibridge is given to students who have lost their parents to COVID-19 and to students who have lost their parents while they were working abroad.
  5. Students whose parents are low waged Indian workers in the Middle East are also eligible for the scholarship.
  6. The annual household income of applicants should be below 2 lakh rupees. Income certificate should be uploaded along with the application
  7. A mandatory affidavit from the local body that certifies the socio-financial background of the applicant should be uploaded along with the application.
